Hike through the park's lush landsacpes to one of the stunning waterfalls in the region, something that would be hard to find on your own. Here you can take a refreshing dip in the waterfall's therapeutic cold waters, a rejuvenating experience amidst nature's beauty.

Day 1: Add-on option : Bread Workshop Gerês
It is hands-on time ! Experience your tour with the Bread Workshop, focused on Broa de milho, the traditional Portuguese corn bread listed in the Slow Food Foundation’s Ark of Taste. You’ll explore its history by harvesting and threshing corn, and learn how it’s combined with other flours like Barbela wheat—also part of the Ark of Taste, sourced from an NGO project preserving the Montague harrier. Knead the dough, let it rise, and enjoy a short hike around the village to see how corn influenced the landscape and community. Back at the workshop, make bolas-de-entre-lenha, a traditional flatbread topped with local herbs, smoked meats, vegetables, and olive oil. Finally, enjoy your creations with seasonal salads, cheese, green wine, and organic infusions.
